If you would like regular updates of other scores from other games, tune into LifeFM 107.9 and 5RPH 1197am game of the day covergae who will both give regular score updates from other venues.

Add to that Sturt's loss to a Alleway-inspired North and you can see I really enjoyed myself today. But what has really got to me was the lack of progress scores from other games on the Prospect Oval scoreboard. My initial reaction was the scoreboard efficiency was in synch with the catering performance. However - a quick peek at the slim-line Budget shows that no letters of the alphabet had been allocated to teams so it seems that my 40 year traditional habit of checking the scoreboard for progress scores of other matches has come to a close. Why have the SANFL done away with the progress scores service ?

After coming up from the bar after half time thought I'd grab a hot dog from the hot dog stand but they were sold out, so I go to the Balfours van and they were closing up as they sold out. Walk back over to the BBQ to see the usual long line (don't wrap the bloody things in paper just serve it in a serviette, paper bag or even a paper plate!), so I say stuff it and ended up getting one of the few remaining hot dogs at the adjacent stand, to which the lady advised that she wasn't selling drinks as they were warm! The crowd of around 3500 was good given it was Easter but certainly going on recent history not way above expectation and should of been easily catered for. I thought Westies catered for the 6000 the previous week really well compared to Norths effort. By the way, over 3000 for all 4 games on a perfect (weather wise) Easter long weekend when many people are away was a good effort.
