I'm on my phone so can't type out too much but he admitted that it was Glenelg President Gaty Metcalfe that is the most important man going around who can call a BBQ at his place at any time to which the others will attend.
Rucci admits "the Power-Magpies merger - a debate settled more so by Metcalf's lobbying than the much stated obstacle of North Adelaide".

Thanks. I'm sure on Saturday on 5AA the retraction and apology will be aired.

Flogging a dead horse.......or magpie.....
"This windfall from the Adelaide Oval decision cannot be turned into a moment when the SANFL sells off the farm to underwrite its lazy league clubs."

His article about The Grace Emily SANFL Season Launch lacked research. He mentioned how "young musos" had organized the night, whereas the general age of the punter at the Grace would be 35-45. Nor did he mention that the SANFL pulled out of any sort of sponsorship of the night as they feared there might be trouble between fans.
Saying all of that, it was good that it got a mention at all.
So well done to the Advertiser's new Chief SANFL football writer, hmmm has Rucc been demoted?
'PAFC don't want any advantages in the SANFL. It would only take away from any achievements we earned.'
