spot on 8)

Well maybe South Australia should offer Western Australia the 1995/96 Sheffield Shield too ?

well explain how you guys claimed a premiership when you finished below R&C and tied the grand final maybe australia should share the world cup with south africa

Apples and Oranges DE.

A tie and a draw are very different.....and Australia tied the semi final, not the final. Nice try though ;)

thats a far question though... how can the rule be diff from a semi?? fair enough it rains it rains and the rule is the same but a tie is diff... where is the advantage in that of being the best side all year??

The tied GF had a result as such, but a rained out match is a no result...

You arent awarded the points during the year for a rained / heat rule game, so why should it be different in a final.

However, what do you do? Play on the Mnday? Next weekend? Just couldnt happen so the rules are there to award the higher placed team...

Wont change people.
