Liberal Party infighting on again

Postby Gozu » Sun Mar 28, 2010 4:51 am

"Liberal Party's lament-Vicki cost us victory":

"FORMER Liberal leader Martin Hamilton-Smith has blamed one-time leadership rival Vickie Chapman for the Liberals' State Election loss, saying the party could have won government if not for her election-week gaffe over Isobel Redmond's leadership."

...and what's that got to do with the Libs historical & regular infighting?

It goes on with both parties Gozu - remember Kim Beazley?

Anyway - back on task:

Vicky Chapman (and the poodle) need a good kick up the ass and maybe MHS is going to do it.

I totally agree that she cost the Liberals and should be made accountable - enough is enough with this infighting - cut the cancer out I say

Sure it goes on on both sides Jimmy but it seems Labor have always been able to deal with these things maturely (formalised factions?) yet the Libs especially in SA have been infighting for a long long time.

Agreed

And time for it to stop so maybe a bit of new blood might get in there and tell some of these people who the real enemy is.

If they cant grasp that fact, then time to leave weakest link........................

You can't stop it unless you can euthanise all the Wilsons, Halls, Goldsworthys, Evans, Chapmans, etc of the world.

FFS, the leadership of all parties is up for grabs after every election - it is a convention even if they win

Looks like all hell's breaking loose in Liberal land - Isobel apparantly not happy with Major Bungle being her deputy.

She didn't stand herself but she helped get the numbers for MHS so that Isobel's choice didn't get the gig.

Will Chapman ever stop undermining Redmond?

No chance would Chapman have helped MHS take a dump

If anything, MHS has done it to block any moves on her. He actually has backed her within the party and was instrumental in her being made Leader
