Good turn up for the Roys after some tough games on the sat and being a 8am training, Managed to get around 30 blokes out to the training. By the sounds of it though this will be a regular thing for the boys but at the beach in the water on sunday mornings instead of at the club.

More than happy, C's and B's look to be very strong and hopefuly produce pressure on bloke to keep there place in the ones! A's new game plan starting to take shape and recruits fitting in to the club well! Confident we will play finals again, hopefuly this year is a year with an eye on 2011 and Div 3. Things are changing, Hopefuly under the new coach and his new regeme we can go from a good Div 4, not quite competative Div 3, club to a strong and respectable Div 3 club!

I was a bit of a D.Reves knocker early on. But he has changed the mentality of the football club and I prey this aura rubs off through out the football club. The Salisbury Football CLub are headding in a good direction!

Pooraka travelled up to face Birdwood on the weekend. Match was fairly physical with Birdwood winning in the end by about 2 goals. Good 3 hitouts in pre-season and looking forward to Rnd 1 vs Golden Grove, should be a ripper!

We played Pulteney Saturday. Similar scoring shots, but Pulteney got up by a bit.
Went through Perrie all day - he took heap of marks and kicked 5 or 6. Need some good CHB's in this comp to curb his influence..

You would think Mitchell will play, would have to getting on in age wouldn't he!! Has he ever trained too hard. You know that TV show King of Queens well Mitch is King of excuses!! ;)

Played with that Shayne Mitchell character down at the bays back in 1992. Can't imagine he is still playing, considering i'm now a grandfather. Aparently he has signed some joker by the name of Barry Burgess. Reports indicate he knows where the big perpendiculars are.

Burras are alot happier than we were the previous week. Showed alot more poise, skill and effort in the trial against Mount Compass and with a few blokes still to return we are looking forward to the year ahead and the first game against Pooraka.

B's are looking good and will have to make some tough calls for round 1 but thats the way life goes.

All in all, we are looking ok and keen to get cracking :)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

So true. We're very lucky that we have plenty of players to choose from.
How are you guys looking and where will you be playing your home games this year ?? (Cant remember if I read it in here at all...)

Choccies after the trial we should be competitive, again not knowing any of the sides apart from Perries Pultney. We will be at Glandore again the place looks a treat.

Westminster will be more than competitive IMO. A good side that should cope well in Div 4, especially with 2 or 3 handy additions from last years Grand Final side. Not to be underestimated...

I'm told DV kicked a lazy 8 in the first half of the B's Choccies and then went onto play A grade
