I put the caveat in that I wasn't at the game, but I'm not surprised with the result. Not because I expected North to be flogged, but because West have been threatening to put together 4 quarters in many games last year.

I saw them pile on goals in a blink of an eye in the 2nd quarter of the game at the Bay last year only to lose faith in their ability in the last.

If West can believe in themselves and play accordingly they're going to trouble a few sides this year. Lose that belief and an early end of season trip beckons.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Good post

I agree, can we string 4 quarters together for more games than we cannot this year?

We are still a work in progress and I would imagine there is improvement for the next season or two if we stay on the same track.

IMO if we can play 10-11 games of 4 quarter intensity like Friday night we will play in a final or two.
Never argue with an idiot, those watching may not be able to tell the difference

Was watching from the outer, grandstand side, lighting tower southern pocket all night and one thing that was very noticeable was the voice from West all night. Very loud and confident in the contested situations. By contrast, North seemed very quiet a lot of the time and looked to turn straight back into traffic a few times through sheer lack of instruction from teammates.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Watched the game fiday night, was real impressed with the intensity and skill level improvement
from the westys team from last year. Keep that up all year and will definately feature in September action...
