Sorry, MPP = Multi-position player. Duncan is eligbile as a forward or a midfielder.

I think in DT the term is dual-position-player

Just found out that Johncock has broken his thumb and will be out for 4 weeks. :(

Thank goodness for the partial lockout this round!

Not at all. Stiffy is a good point scorer and is reasonaly priced this season. Remember that this is a DT/SC forum so people are going to be talking about players in terms of relative value rather than footballing ability.

I went for Duncs instead of Pods and I've got Bastinac as well. I went very young in the midfield so I'll either look like a genius or a complete dunce come August.

127, or should I say 254 last night despite a reasonably quiet game by his standards. He committed a turnover and also kicked it out of bounds on the full. He did kick two goals though so that covered those clangers.

That is the beauty of Ablett. Even when he has a quieter game he still cracks the ton because of the large amount of contested ball he gets. Those that label Gaz a receiver have never looked at contested footy stats...........................and they both make me smile.

Might as well post my team:

FB: Enright, Hargrave, Hurn
HB: Hodge, Ellis, Hunt
C: Higgins, Martin, L. Jetta
HF: Goodes, Riewoldt, O'Keefe
FF: J Brown, Hall, Ziebell
RR: M Clark, Ablett, Mitchell

INT: Waters, Barlow, Warren, Ryder

RES: Nason, Silvagni, Shuey, Bastinac, Warnock, Trengove(PP), Rockliffe, R. Roberts

-Opted for Ellis over Kennelly/Malceski for something different. I think Ellis has a potentially higher ceiling than the other two.
-Went for Ryder as second ruck, oops, could be a costly mistake if he spends a lot of time forward like he did last night, but I wanted to go for something slightly different again.
-All my starting rookies are in the midfield. Yes, they will be targeted for upgrade, but here's hoping one of them has a year similar to that of Daniel Rich or Greg Broughton.
-Very young Reserves list, on second thoughts, I probably should have found room for Maguire.

Sounds like a few of us went young in the midfield

I ended up with 6 midfield rookies - Shuey, Trengove, Martin, Barlow, Bastinac and Jetta. 2 are on the bench and the other 4 I started. The other 2 midfield spots are Ablett and Dal Santo to give me some score protection.

That risk allowed me to not have to start any rookies anywhere else. Except for Hitchcock who now has to play in place of Gray who's been ruled out :(

PS: I like your side Quichey

Dang. I've gone Gray in DT but I've got 743 from 6 players in that one so far which is a good DT average.
