Also funny how No Mercy comes back to coach when Seaton are at rock bottom.. Suppose he likes to be seen as the Messiah that got them back on their feet, however, where was he when they going divisions... Funny about that... Did he not site health reasons?? He was always healthy enough to be drinking cans watching Port Magpies play their Sunday games!!

I think you should do the same Cock75, worry about your side PAOC ( i bet its not your team ), i can't recall ever posting anything about them either.
You shouldn't go embarrassing yourself making assumptions you do regarding the Seaton coach, for your info he was at alot of Seaton games last year helping out when he could, even at training still supporting his club ( thats where he was when going through the divisions ), having a break from the game is a good thing to renew your enthusiasm after being involved for 30 years without a break, he's one coach that puts alot of hard work into sponsorship aswell as his coaching,
I suppose getting the results he has in the past as a player & coach upsets a few people like you Cocky75, i call it "jealousy."
The results are on the board pal, 8 League premierships as a player, no premiership as a coach but success in developing players, improving the club environment & financial position, keeping the club in higher Divisions ( A1 for 3 years 02-03-04 ) do you want me to keep going Cocky one? i could be here for hours, maybe we could hear what you've done with yourself in your time, i bet it would all fit on the back of a matchbox!!![]()
I might see you at a Port Magpies game this year Cocky one, i hope you have the balls to match your name & introduce yourself.
Noooooo i don't think you have.
What a load of crap! Certain people on here bagging or undermining the ability of the Seaton coach. Brining up the fact that he is at a Sunday game of footy has stuff all to do with coaching or past playing achievements, let alone posting a person had health issues, grow up mate. As NO MERCY has stated, let all the critics post their personal achievements on a separate topic and see how they compare to the Seaton coach. As mentioned, one word is "jealousy" but another one should be used, "no football talent" to have either play with him or to be coached by him.

We're looking alright at this stage - Lots of blokes pushing for spots in the ones which can only be good for the depth of the club.
Who else has trial games this weekend?

Not that my opinion matters much but here it is anyway
Para Hills - With all the news flying around about these guys over pre season they would have to go into the season red hot favourite. As long as all of this the news is true it should be a successful year for the boys at the Hills.
Olg Iggies - My tip for the big movers of 2010, this out fit from all reports (rumours on here) have mentioned these guys have recruited some big names for season 2010. All signs say Old Iggies are in for a good year!
SMOSH - Very conpetitive side and always have been, with some strong recruiting over the pre season watch out for smoshies to be right up there in 2010.
Seaton - A good team like Seaton can't stay down on the canvas for too long. I feel a slight resurgence from the boys down at the Rams. Good luck to them some of their players are blokes I used to look up to when I was a young fella just starting my trade at Portland so good luck.
Portland - Had to sneak them into my top five, recruited well and no major loses sees portland in a good space this year. as long as they stay fit and they gun recruits fire I think they will scrape in but there will be some challanges for that last spot in the five so Portland have to be up to the challenge. Lets hope they are!!!
PAOC - The team I love to hate (just because we have had some cracking games over the years) I think they will be right up there. from what I have read they have kept a lid on it this pre season which might work out to their favour being that some clubs may under estimate them coming from a lower division. I think they will miss out but only just.
CBC - The same as PAC under estimate this mob at your peril. this grade is so strong that position 3 to 8 will be so competitive. Unless these boys have recruited strongly over the pre season it might be lower end of the ladder for the Dolphins.
Mitcham - Always a competitive, strong, solid outfit. Have flown under the radar this summer and hopefully they will be strong. Not hearing much so I can't form much of an opinion but if it is anything like last year with this devision so strong it could be a tough year for the hawks.
Kilburn - Another tough year from all reports for Kilburn this year. Lets hope this proud club can pick themselves off of the canvas and continue to fight. It's just my opinion but I think they will struggle again.
Scotch - Again a team that has flown under the radar this pre season. Unless they have recruited strongly it might be good bye div 3 & hello div 4 for these men.
As I said just my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing, i know they have lost a couple decent players and i have not heard of many recruits.
Considering they finished 5th last year and if Hanson is injured as mentioned on here, they might find it hard against teams like Seaton, Iggies & Smosh.

Just saw on the pending clearances Aaron Burridge to Portland
Last time i saw him play, he and Thornton were attempting to smack the living suitcase out of each other on the far pocket at Haven ! How things have turned...
Great lad, good to have him onboard !
