I wonder if any free tickets was handed out to mke the crowd bigger

Anything less than 5,000 would be disappointing in my opinion. The conditions will be perfect, they are playing a reasonably high drawing team, its Round 1 and a historic moment. I presumed they would be aiming for 6,000 - 7,000.

Pretty hopeful of the club Theile 8000, reckon you may get 5000 seeing it will be a warm night, hope though for Westies you do manage to pull that many, unfortunately, my family and i wont be 5 of them

The club as emailed a beverage producer and league sponsor with a link for anyone who wants a free ticket to print one .Is anyone paying to get in? No-one I know is.

My Spies went to Richmond Oval tonight to see the lights on. They look really good

when the 'novelty' of souths first home game at noarlunga against glenelg (from memory) there was a huge crowd & this is why i think there will be a huge crowd on friday night because of the novelty & history of the event
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I think thats right and with over 10,000, remains the record.

Probably beat it later this year with a top of the table clash against the Bays again!
