And then when they are ready to be tested and something doesn't work?Booney wrote:I was going to mention that I could see from my office at work yesterday workmen up on a cherry picker installing the last of the lights.
I recall when the announcement was made about the lights something like 'We believe they will be ready for round 1' was mentioned.
They have all of Wed,Thurs and Friday ( up to a point ) which means they should get them installed.

Norwood have trained under their old lights in the last decade and hasnt helped them come game time.Booney wrote:Would be foolish to get them set up and the home team not have had the advantage of training under them.

Just 3 days out from the match and the lights just got on the poles?
Work at Norwood oval had to wait til baseball finished, hence why they were happy to fore-go the season opener. At Richmond they had the whole off-season to get the work done and the lights (only 300 lux mind you) are still not ready? Why is it so last minute?
Not having a go at Westies, its probably out of their control, or was it? Maybe whoever was contracted to do the work should not receive full payment as surely they over-stepped the deadline.

How do you know? Will there be doctors on the turnstiles, performing free medicals upon entry* to the ground?

Let me rephrase. A respectable crowd....no, that wont work. A better than average.......hhmmmmm. A crowd of people.......see that is debatable also.
Here we go. A crowd of 4500 oxygen thieves.

Wowsers - $360k for 500 lux and 4 new light towers at Norwood, yet $740k for 300 lux and new light towers (I presume) at Richmond?![]()
