They've got two - one in Mt Torrens and one in Mt Pleasant. The Mt Torrens one is a much better ground.

What has happened to the Mt Pleasant Ground? that used to be a beautiful flat big oval, a rarity in the Hills. I remember winning a couple of Premierships out there and is still probably my favourite ground I have ever played on.

Mt Torrens used to be a muddy quagmire with a big slope on it and relatively small compared to Mt. Pleasant.

I haven't been up that way for a while but when I played on them, Mt Pleasant was by far superior. What has happened to make that change?

DID tV HAVE ANY NEW BOYS... GUNNING??

I reckon Gunning wore number 8? If it was him he was dominant as well. Probably their pick of the bunch would have been Cox and Jaques in the ruck, number 51 (who looks nothing like a footballer but would have had 40 possessions), number 8 (possibly Gunning) and Sitters. As for the oval situation, Mt Pleasant had their annual show. Mt Torrens apart from been on the side of a mountain and the goals not lining up was in excellent nick.

Seems like most teams would have now had their first hitout from the weekend! Any Trial games lined up for this Weekend? before easter break then into Round 1.

Kersbrook easily accounted for Henley's Div 6 side in a 6 quater trial match on Saturday. The Sharks were depleted for the trial and are currently coached by ex Brooker Daryl Pearce.

The Brookers take on fellow Division 6 side Trinity O.S. this Friday night at Brook Park.

Heard on the weekend that gumeracha have picked up a recruit who has a life ban from the amateur league  if true you would have to question why a club would want to recruit a player like this to you're club?

The bloke you are talking about is in no way a thug or anything. Made a stupid decision in a certain GF whilst playing for Salisbury West which gave him 7 games then when he returned he was handed another lengthy suspension whilst playing again for SW which took him over the 12 game limit. Sounds worse then it is. The first incident he deserved to have the book thrown at him but in the second incident he was harshly judged from what I have been told. Will do very well for Gumeracha this season.

Kersbrook knocked back an offer of a trial game with Christies Beach because they were worried about getting hurt.

A leopard doesn't change his spots. As evident in a recent trial game.
