Just posted that in the crowds thread that yes, it was very dark in the last. I was told they were still working on the tower in the SE corner right up to the start of the game and that ETSA wouldn't allow them to be turned on.

kookas wrote:bloods08 that is correct. the game was scheduled to start at 6.30pm but at 4pm the lights werent all up which meant the game started at 6pm, the games was reduced to 4 x 20 min qtr instead of the 25 min qts, half time got reduced to 10 mins instead of the 15 mins. this game was moved a couple of weeks ago to blackwood oval but last week westies wanted the game at city mazda so it was played there then. i hope it get tested in time tomorrow night or eveyone will have to bring a torch to the game on friday.

I have to take you up about half time usually 15 minutes, teams have to be on the field no earlier then 15 minutes and no later the 18 minutes and half time in all grades is usually 20 minutes.

ME, we stayed on the ground the whole time, never went to the changesrooms, it was agreed on so that the game didnt finish with candles at 8.30pm.

Might have to read my post again. I don't dispute that had to change the times due to the light. In your post you said that half time is usually 15 minutes, which is not correct. It is usually 20 minutes for half time. Trust me I do know what I am talking about as the U16/18s timekeeper for the Eagles.
