Ramblers/Meningie fighting for 3rd spot.

Mypo/Tailem/Jervois fighting for 5th spot, i think Mypo are favourites.

Totally agree GWW...It goes to show how a team can go backwards (Jervois) in a matter of a couple of years and a team can improve in a couple of years (Mannum)

after what i seen friday i wouldnt of thought tailem would make the 5

Tailem have another trial match this weekend, but I'm not sure who against, can anyone tell me?

And any updates on Hogarth and Coombe's injuries? If these boys are out it could be a very long year for the Eagles. These are two blokes that the Eagles need with a very thin list at the moment.

A mate at work tells me Cooper isn't heading down to Tailem any more, is that true?

Tailem's trial match is against Kaniva.
Rumour has it Hogarth and Coombe will be right for first game.
By all accounts Coop's is assessing his football future, he may retire if not he will line up for the eagles. Could be a big loss for them though. They really need his strength in the mid field.

Well hopefully that's true that Hogarth and Coombe will be right for round one, and if Cooper does decide to play for Tailem, being cleared there and all Tailem would look a much better side with these 3 blokes. If not, I can't see who Tailem will replace these blokes with.

To be honest Jervois are as boring to talk about as plain weet bix. They will just be on the end of some thrashings, to be fair

I noticed Sturt's under 18's squad named in today's Tiser. Seemed to be quite a few familiar RMFL names listed - Gollan, Wingard, Altmann, Samblich, Krausi (Krause?). Will be interesting to see if they remain at Sturt when the RMFL season commences in a couple of weeks.

How Imps, Ramblers and Mannum gone in their pre season games Drew? Who do you expect to be the better new players to the league this season? or players from juniors/reserves who will step up?!

Hall & Hunter are big ins for Mannum

Kay & Button for Ramblers

Brunoli, Noske & Pollock for Meningie

Cooper? Maybe for Tailem

Haven't heard much about Imps, Mypo or Jervois' recruiting

You might want to edit that 3rd line to Meningie Goldberg.

Pretty much spot on Goldy, Imps i believe didnt pik anyone up, (dont really need too).
Mypo i believe didnt get anyone this year, just the return of the Eckermann boys from injury and Sturt.
And as for Jervois i dont believe they picked up many or any players.. Just lost them all :)

Did hear a while ago Mypo picked up a Ruckman (Macka??) aswell as Blake Harrowfield. But have lost James Pedler, Coulter & White
Other then Ramblers ;) they possibly have the best local guys coming through though, it just may take a year or 2

On the Hills clearances it has Jason Linke from Lobethal to River Murray Football League. Does anyone know much about Jason and where he is heading?

There was a Linke that played at Meningie about 15 or so years ago. Might be the same bloke, but if its the same guy, presumably he'd be playing B Grade.
