Two morphy blokes umpiring the semi final of the same section as their own club. Isnt that strange? Didnt think the association usually allow this?

Thats a good one very funny.... Few lads that have come back to the club after Christmas fitting in well down there should do well and should be a good game and im imaging a fair standard of cricket for section 4.

WYC won the toss and batted. Got off to a solid start, although very slowly. We were 0/24 off 15 overs. We then then lost 4/5 to be 4/29, and then Benny Mac made a quick fire 33 until he was out and we were 5/66. Russell King and Mark Whenan then put on 92 for the 6th wicket until Mark was out for a well deserved 69. WYC ended up all out for 185, with Russell King making a slow-to-start but damn good 35 with some attacking shots at the end of his innings.

We had 3 overs to bowl to Glenelg, with Stef Basso, after opening every innings this year, hiding himself and not padding up to face the first ball. Robbie struck with a LBW, absolutely plum, on the first ball of the innings.

Scores at end of day 1:

WYC 185 v ANA 1/2

Looks like the Coro machine is showing no signs of slowing down. A super effort to roll Keswick for 125 and look the winners at 0/15.

Our game should be a cracker. A few early wickets and we are really in the game, the oval was very slow today, i hope it buckets down in the morning and the outfield gets even slower ;) .

How's that toe Bloods? Surely nothing a few panadol fortes couldn't fix. Might be required when Glenelgs only decent bats finally come out.

Well batted Bloods got your team out of a hole there. Now you have to back it up with the ball, getting an early 1 helps. Bass no where to be seen CK? you'll just have to get him out early today then

Depends when he comes out though TDN!! Hopefully we get 3 early ones, with Basso and Rowe 2 of those. Will be a very hard fought day of cricket thats for sure.

Bloods toe should be alrite, although last night it was pretty big (even big for him aswell) ;)

Come on the centres. lets get 2 sides in the GF

Section 4 semi final. MPCc bowled sheidow out for 76, sheidow had 16 overs at them yesterday, overnight MPCC were 5 fa 38. Sheidow bowled MPCC out today for 54. Great effort. Well done MPCC, you managed to portray yourselves as the biggest losers going around. They took the loss like a bunch of girls, suck eggs
