Agree. Although he must hit the vodka a bit he is much better to watch now he is off the heavy stuff. Saw him on his own do an accoustic set about 6 months ago and he was straight and sober. Much like Metallica front man James Hetfield he said he has a new lease on life on the stage now that he is actually there to experience it.

It was at The Promitheum (sp?) for some charity event for raising funds for a a kids cancer group. Was about 200 people and just Phil and an accosutic. Was great, oh, and they had the Crows V Collingwood Final on a big screen. Made for a top night. ;)

Eddie Izzard...comedian and actor.

Watched the final programme of a 3 parter about what he's done for this years Sport Relief...

http://www.sportrelief.com/whats-on/challenges/eddie

Legendary comedian Eddie Izzard completed one of the most incredible challenges in Sport Relief's history by running at least 27 miles a day, 6 days a week for 7 weeks straight, covering more than 1,160 miles across the UK! He heroically kept on going, despite agonising blisters and toenails falling off, and now he’s back

For a 47yo who had apparently never run a marathon before I think he's aboso-*******-luty amazing.

Regards
JAS
