[quote="SOTTERS"]Spoke to Cove officials yesterday, and Ben has left Cove to take up a position with South.[/quot

I would think the vacant cove spot would be taken up by Lane Trembath.

Anyone know if Shannon May is still playing inthe Southern League?

What is the feeling about Peter Meuret taking over at Morphy Parks know he hasn't had much success in his recent coaching appointments at Plympton, Bridgewater and West U/17's won a premiership with the Parks ages ago seems like an interesting appointment. Although Ben Porter really wanted the job a couple of years back must be disappointing that the club didn't appoint him when it had the chance very good coach.

Petoe, Shane Mitchell didn't he coach 2 Langhorne Creek flags and a Kenilworth flag??? I have necer met the guy or even know he is but have heard of him in relation to the premierships.......Cove have made 2 prelims so wouldn't an experienced Premiership coach be what they need??? What are his problems?? As i also know he was sacked after winning the Langhorne Creek flag

He has been Ben's assistant for a few seasons now (at Kenilworth and Cove). I would have thought that he would seem to be the natural choice to continue the good work started by Ben and to take Cove forward.

Sorry scootyroos, havent seen budha for 12 months. Can you define a gun for me? Could he play A1 footy and be a 4 quater performer? Or are you saying he is a gun for his age? Also why isnt he playing SANFL then? Didnt he play 1/2 a season in Blackwoods A's last year? Also idiot, come on, fool yes but idiot? An idiot is someone who sprouts off on hear saying there team are going win the GF and after round 3 go missing on the forum, then pop up when their side has won a couple of games at the end of the year and talk themselves up again, and then talk it up the following pre-season with watch this space.........
