Should be 4, surely North v Sturt is a more attractive proposition than Port v Eagles?

Shouldn't come in to it, all teams should get an even allocation which equates to even exposure. On the basis of blockbusters I would never get to see my Panthers play as a country supporter.

I couldnt care less about how many times Norwood are on TV. If I cant get to the game it usually means I cant watch on TV either. Give me a Friday night game over a Saturday arvo if it means more crowds.Wedgie wrote:westcoastpanther wrote:Wedgie wrote:Squawk wrote:So Sturt get 3 TV games in the first 4 rounds? We only got 1 game on TV for the whole year when we were bottom. I don't have a problem with that as they should be trying to promote the game and get more people interested.
Having said that the main issue these days appears to be the day clubs want to play, if supporters are annoyed that they get less TV games than others because their club wants to play at times other than Saturday afternoon then the supporters should take it up with their clubs.
Logistics is probably an issue too which is fair enough.

Not according to membership numbers!

I don't think the attractiveness of a game is determined by membership numbers mate.
Freo have a lot of members too but I think a Geelong v StKilda match would appeal to TV more than Freo v Adelaide!

I'm sure the TV channels in Perth would show Melbourne v Freo ahead of Geelong v Saints though regardless of the quality of football on display!!!

Exactly, and it'd be a fair point if Alberton and Woodville got different TV to the rest of the state. Do they even have electricity yet?![]()

Meh, I'll be there anyway as North v Sturt games are usualy rippers. Just thinking ofthe poor person at home who might want to see the better game, play on.
