Will be interesting to see if the farmers can close the gap on last season, being beaten last season

A grade: 207 - 37 & 206 - 33
B grade: 212 - 17 & 216 - 2

Surely they will do better than last year. Will they be at full strength? Apparently a few boys were missing against Central United the other week

Not sure, last time several blokes were missing due to cricket, most cricketers' seasons would be over now so hopefully few more back but wont know more till thursday.

Believe there will be 4 games played Sat, 18's, C's, B's, A's

Seriously the most common phrase in amateur football is "We won/lost our trial, but we had (always) between 6-8 out". Who gives a sh-t seriously? All people are doing is justifying their own ego's. Btw for any interested observers we got touched up in convincing fashion by Bridgewater over 6 quaters. But.... we had 8 out

Your right and i do agree with what your saying, however im not using it as a cop out or an excuse, merely letting people be aware of it before i get bombarded with stupid abusive comments or people bagging the club when they really don't know whats going on and just go off results they read.

Ignore it. We got slammed week after week last year for our s**thouse efforts last year. Unfortunatly there is a minority (The same as society) that give the majority a bad image. Develop a thick skin and dont worry what dead set duds write, better yet dont give them ammo (Like having people within your club start up a link on your own club when you're getting flogged). I suspect by your posts that you are high up at IF, i'd say your opinion would be quite respected within the club. Good luck during the year and look forward to the contest. (Just keep your supporters of the ground  )

Come on mate, if you are going to give a brief analysis on a game your team played, you'd want to have some accuracy. If you had 8 players out, you should be entitled to say it. I know I'd prefer to know if a rival team was at full strength or not in a trial.
Just my 5c worth. Are you back in town for 2010?

It was a bit toungue in cheek aswell mate. C'mon when does any club have a side on the park at full strength?? I'm back and forth from Pirie like a yo yo atm, taxing and i'm looking ordinary on the track when I get the odd chance to train. Other matters make that a little harder aswell. But I will be back when the whips are cracking round 1. If I had any sort of life outside of work i'd be lucky to train at all

Anyone know of any trial games this Friday or possibly Sunday? Doesn't have to be Div 6, I just want to get out and watch some amateur footy.

Paralowie v Salis West @ Paralowie - Sunday A's & B's. C Grade v Salisbury same day and ground.

Will be a good hit out for us, 1st one of the year. Few lads missing with cricket finals but we'll be right.
