It's good the SANFL are watching the clubs though. It would be poor form for one club to have some sort of competitive edge over the other 8 now, wouldn't it?

So I'll take it you've accepted you were wrong and Norwood aren't currently banned from recruiting? You are always a poster who insists on being factual after all.

Centrals spent 40 years providing us with great comedic value- especially with the white soccer strip in the '80s...

So so true but like any great comedian we realised when our time was up and got serious.

Norwood are not currently banned from recruiting as we speak. Indeed we have recruited this year Goldy, no big names like James Boyd though. :D

Our recruiting ban finished early in March just fyi. Maybe someone at Norwood should give the disgruntled Heath Lawry a call, it's not like he's needed now that Yves has gone.

Maybe Earl Shaw could come back to Elizabeth Oval and play a role for you?

Where are Norwood allowed to recruit from ? If Heath's in the recruiting zone and wanted to go to Norwood for more cash then so be it. Earl Shaw, no need.
(Re Yves, Alice Springs isn't that far away by plane ;) Matty Slades still pretty fit also)

I think Heath would be fairly happy at the moment his been given time off to get married, has most likely just started his honeymoon and then will be back playing sanfl football in a couple of weeks.

Even if he wanted to leave im pretty confident the Dogs would make him sit a year out rather than be released to Norwood.

An internal investigation by North Board members into the breach has revealed that the batch of brown paper bags used last year were faulty on the bottom seam and hence one broke open one day when Whitey was leaving the club on pay day just when Chandler happened to be visiting.

North has announced it will use brown coloured calico type bags for season 2010 and beyond.

You would suspect that the SANFL would be keen to hit North hard with the way North have stood up to the SANFL in recent times.
If that was the best they could come up with (even the SANFL said it wasn't deliberate) then North must be squeaky clean.
Can't pay a person as a coach a small figure even though he's an accredited coach?
I wouldn't be suprised if you found at least a similar issue at all clubs if they had their finances rummaged through with a fine tooth comb, probably much worse.

Oh well at least we can start talking Footy again wih this being a non event. :)

Apparently you have to complete the course to get the accreditation even though he was actually doing his level 2 course through 2009!

Now who would argue that is not an over Technical ruling?

lol, I wouldn't have even bothered breaking the news on SAFooty if I was aware of how minor it was. Apologies to all for helping create a mountain out of a mole hill, what a drama queen I am! ;)

c'mon drunky - if you hadn't you would have let down the anti-North posters on this site (e.g everyone else). It gives them more ammo, comfort and pleaure to reading about how bad we are at Prospect!
