I must say that is a very good point. As an outsider, I cant believe its been allowed to go on as long as it has.

so why is it allowed oz?? should he play finals??

it was a couple of fist pumps?? no words no nothing. the only reason we were happy is because caff is a good player, and it would give us atleast an over or two without getting abuse yelled at us from the side lines.

all in all the game was played in pretty good spirit, no players went off at each other or anything like that. there were no send offs or anything. sewelly batted very well, close to a tonn, he was the danger man all day, didnt give us a sniff of his wicket.

bring on finals now, everything else doesnt really mean anything now

WTF which player went home early this time, i would love to know what they would do if they made a goldie in the GF yet their team went onto win im sure they would hang around then.

from all reports the same player [cafferty] said he didnt care about the result he just wanted the batting trophy... thats a disgrace and should be dropped and not get the chance to even bat in the finals... and if he does play he had better prepare himself for a sledge or 2 i would think... by the sounds of it you could talk the bloke out very early...

Jamie McCafferty i have played many years of cricket with him at EPFC, seems very much out of charcter but if he has done that should not be getting a game in any grade come finals.

no played 3 years of juniors and two seasons in the seniors, including a 'b' grade div 4 grand final in which he hit a hundred in the semi final to guide us to victory, he would have been at least 18 when he went to Salisbury West, the move was due to an older cricketer in the same team who kept acting like a dh, jamie left because of this bloke and the bloke in question left the next year, EPFC definatly got the worse end of that incident, but the club did all they could to keep him.
