Not sure Thiele. No reason he wouldn't I guess. I'll be at the race on Saturday so won't see this match. Bummer as I like watching footy at Richmond.

Here is the link to the teamsheets for the game.

Interesting name on the Sturt Reserves list....number 62 Bowen Lockwood. Im guessing its not the former Port Power but strange that the same name would appear again given that it is a slightly obscure name.

I would suspect someone has stuffed up and it should be Jordan Lockwood.

I'm sure you're right. Jordan Lockwood is a Sturt U18 player from Pembroke College. Also the Corey Jones listed, is a young player from Mypolonga in Sturt's Country Zone

Both ways. Very tiggy-touchwood. Holding the ball rule causing the most confusion.

Half time: West 5.7 Sturt 7.5. Sturt just a little more cleaner with their ball use at the moment.

Good game of footy for a trial game. I thought the skills where really good, except the last 5 minutes when the Bloods defenders kept kicking the ball to the Blues forwards. Westies pressure at the ball and opponent in the second half was excellent. That would almost be Westies first win (albiet a trial game) against Sturt since the 1983 Grand Final  ;) . I actually cant remember the last win we had against them.

Cant wait for the real stuff to start.
