Yep, D Simmons listed as a rider with Sportingbet, but has no rides... Pretty sure that means all JC bets on that event are off - provided the bet was placed before Simmons withdrew.... I would be pumped if the TAB took out all my bets on Rocky.... would give me more collects when Angland gets up....

ON SPORTINGBET IT SAYS:

Dead heat rules apply, all listed riders must complete 1 ride.

I assume it is the same with all bookies though UNITAB don't have the same thing on theirs.....

Does the TAB call them off? Rarely do I have a JC with them. For your sake Mr Willy I hope they do

No idea... they don't have the same disclaimer as sportingbet do... Would give me another $20 straight out on Angland at $7.50 if they do... If they don't I will be ringing them to ask the question at least - they don't have JC betting rules on their website that I can find...

Yes Shin can tie with Angland at best, Angland just needs to jag a point from his last 2 rides or Shin not win on his one ride

Yeah I don't have a refund either...

Did you back Simmons mate??

Normally they don't do anything with them until the end of the meet....

You would think each bookie would have the same rules.... if they don't refund it I will be calling to ask the question just to see... worth making a phone call for an extra $150!!!

RULES ARE THE SAME EVERYWHERE FROM THE DOCUMENT I FOUND....

(2) If a licence operator accepts an investment on a selection for a
jockeys’ challenge after a jockey that is part of the selection
withdraws from the challenge, the licence operator must
refund the investment in full.

(3) Also, a licence operator must refund in full all investments
received on selections for a jockeys’ challenge, if—
(a) the jockeys’ challenge is postponed or cancelled before
it starts; or
(b) at least 1 horse race in the jockeys’ challenge is
cancelled before the race starts, and at the conclusion of
the challenge—
(i) the leading jockey does not hold an unassailable
lead

I would imagine number (2) is why sportingbet have the note they have....

Surely Simmons didn't pull out in the last hour before they jumped for the first race..... and if Johno has managed to put a bet on him then call JC bets on Rocky for today should be refunded....
