Katich = HACK

Hows the bowling of Thornley in the last over...pies w/ sauce

WA needed 8 off 2 balls and Thornley chucks down a half tracker at 110 k's and Dorey puts it into the members stand at the SCG (big hit)

2 off the last, 1 to tie, another pie from Thornley and DOrey whacks it hard to fine leg and gets caught...Thornley uses a get out of jail free card

Think the lowlight was probably the decision to give Hogg out Stumped ... There are more learned students of the game here than myself so I stand to be corrected, but surely that was a poor decision, and being from the 3rd umpire there was no reason to botch it?

Was at the train station in town (had the game on the big screen) and saw that new WA bowler, Gillies or something like that looks like a medium - fast bowler.

Went and did something else when WA lost a few wickets when they still hadn't reached a 100 and I thought it was going to be an ordinary finish. How wrong I was!!!

CORRECT CP A DISGRACEFUL DECISION, I WOULD THINK THE 3RD UMPIRE EERED IN WHEN THEY WENT UP TO HIM HE THOUGHT WAS HE IN OR OUT ? (CREASE), NOT THINKING TO LOOK IF THE BALL WAS TAKING CLEANLY IN THE GLOVES FIRST (MAYBE WE NEED TO GET A 4TH UMPIRE TOCHECK ON THE 3RD UMPIRE ? :roll: :roll: :shock: :shock:

Some very good points made in this thread. WA were robbed by the umpires and Haddin was trying it on with some outrageous appeals with that tubby umpire. Two lbs were a bit suss and Hoggy was stiff. Also, Katich is a crap captain. Bowling a part time spinner in the last ten when Douggy Bollinger had six overs up his sleeve and poor fields all night. NSW very lucky to win what was an exciting game. We were so lucky to win that game that I can't even brag about us being on top of the ladder...oh shit, I just did.
