Survivor- Series 20: Heroes vs Villians - ** NO SPOILERS **

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains will be the twentieth season of the American TV series Survivor. It will premiere on February 11th, 2010 with a 2-hour special premiere. Unlike previous seasons where a break in production occurred between seasons, the twentieth season was shot 20 days after Survivor: Samoa was completed, taking advantage of the existing infrastructure from that season. Casting for Heroes vs. Villains was done simultaneously with Survivor: Samoa

Here are the confirmed Villians, with my thoughts on them:

Courtney Yates 28, NEW YORK. Series 15 - China. Scrawny blond chick from China series that came 2nd to Todd. Is a whiner and a schemer.

Tyson Apostol 29, UTAH. Series 18 -Tocantins. This guy does not hold back. Sarcastic and coarse. Rubs people the wrong way. "It's Funny When People Cry" he stated after making the women in this series angry and upset. All this from a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Randy Bailey 50, MISSOURI. Series 17-Gabon. Wedding videographer that hates LOVE and all the traits of marriage. Found love once with a dog that passed away prior to Gabon. Shifty character that is not to be trusted. Was given a fake "immunity idol" and played it at tribal council. Was cocky and arrogant till Jeff announced it was not an immunity idol. A classic blindside voted him out!

Sandra Diaz-Twine 35, NORTH CAROLINA. Series 7 -Pearl Islands. Winner of the Pearl Island series who was an early target for her lack of physical strength and inability to swim. Formed an alliance with Rupert Boneham and made it all the way. Don't know why she is considered a villian though.

Benjamin "Coach" Wade 38, CALIFORNIA. Series 18 -Tocantins. This guy is easy to dislike. He is an attention seeker, who channels Ralph macchio from the Karate Kid. Stories of how he "survived lost in the Amazon" and "kidnapped by Columbian druglords" were cringe worthy in Tocantins. Sent to Exile Island, he believed he did not need water or food but relied on his "inner strength to survive and to win immunity". He failed and got voted out for being a dick!

Russell Hantz 37, TEXAS. Series 19 -Samoa. The best character in the game since Johnny Fairplay. Knows how the games works, plays it well. Arrogant and cocky. A pleasure to watch. Luckily for him this series was shot straight after the conclusion of filming of this series, therefore, no-one knows who he is, or how good he can be! was a late inclusion due to his performance and antics in Samoa.

Parvati Shallow 27, CALIFORNIA. Series 13 -Cook Islands & 16 Micronesia. Black widow type. Smiling, flirty chick who uses her feminely possessions to woo the dumb big guys to ride their coat tails. Smart chick who won the All stars series. Has come into contact with a lot of the cast, so should go early I would expect.

Jerri Manthey 38, CALIFORNIA. Series 2 -Australian Outback & 8 All-Stars. Acid tongued chick from second series that was frequently involved in conflicts with the rest of the cast, earning her a degree of notoriety. Could go under the radar for a while, however won't get to the merge.

Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano 33, FLORIDA. Series 4 -Marquesas & 8 -All-Stars. Won a wife in Amber Brkich after All-Stars. Nice enough bloke, just annoyingly "American". Thinks he knows the game well and is fairly confident of going to the end. Has the brains to go far but will depend on his alliances.

Danielle DiLorenzo 28, FLORIDA. Series 12-Panama. The strongest female competitor in this season. However, is humorless and has no personality. Nothing she did was remotely interesting. Her gameplay skills, while they may have taken her to the final 2, are nothing out of the ordinary. OK to look at!

As for the heroes:

Rupert Boneham 45, INDIANA. Series 7 -Pearl Islands & 8 -All-Stars. The lovable bearded pirate who works with disadvantaged kids. Won $1million by popular vote. Has a playful nature and is good to watch at times.

James Clement 32, LOUISIANA. Series 15 -China & 16 -Micronesia. Hard working, loveable but dumb grave digger from down south. Think "John Coffey" the huge black man from "The Green Mile". One of the dumbest survivors ever as he was blindsided while holding 2 immunity idols and never saw it coming. An obvious physical threat, James from the get-go will have a major target painted on his back.

Colby Donaldson 35, TEXAS. Series 2 -The Australian Outback & 8 -All-Stars. !YAWN!

Cirie Fields 39, CONNECTICUT. Series 12 -Panama & 16-Micronesia. Boring, whinging black woman that aligned with Parvati and Amanda in Micronesia to go to the end.

Amanda Kimmel 25, CALIFORNIA. Series 15 -China & 16 -Micronesia. Made final 3 in both seasons she was in. Will go far but cannot win in the end

Jessica "Sugar" Kiper 30, CALIFORNIA. Series 17 -Gabon. Annoying, ditsy chick who got lucky by aligning with the right people and by finding an immunity idol.

Stephenie LaGrossa 29, PENNSYLVANIA. Series 10-Palau & 11-Guatemala. For some reasons gets another chance at a season. Sooked her way through Guatemala after getting dumped in yet another "loser tribe".

James "J.T." Thomas, Jr. 25, ALABAMA. Series 18 -Tocantins. Mr "Perfect". Played the perfect game by never getting a vote against him. Boring to watch, not much personality, but strives to win. This is evident when he lost a tooth in a rewards challenge. "You're gonna want that tooth", stated Jeff afterwards!

Tom Westman 45, NEW YORK. Series 10 -Palau. Another nice guy type, who won his series. Aligned well early on and won 5 out of 7 immunity challenges. Very strong, physical competitor.

Candice Woodcock 27, WASHINGTON. Series 13-Cook Islands. First player to "mutiny" from a tribe. Not much of a player. Not much personality. Don't understand why she was given a geurnsey

That would mean then that while any cast member in Samoa would know all about the other players, they themselves would be an unknown quantity. They could either try their same strategy, or completely re-think how they play, without the other players knowing anything about them. An advantage, one would think.

Well the one person with a huge advantage is Russell as he has seen all of the other contestants in their respective series, however they have not seen him in his series as it went to air several weeks after they began filming Heroes vs Villains.

After watching Amanda last night, I am now addicted. I'll even put up with listening to Jerri blast her trumpet as long as Amanda gets her fair share of air time.

Good to see Sugar get voted off. Her best contribution to the show was provided water through tears.
