Ah on paper yes definately, whether everyone becomes available though i dont know.

I think yesterday we had b/c combined with around 7 on the bench and a full a grade with 5 on the bench i think and there were i believe around the 16 mark of ppl who were unavailable due to cricket, holiday etc.

Sounds promising. Yesterday we had about 30 in our early game but half the A grade were out at a wedding and quite a few B and C graders still out too. Should have most back in 2 weeks. Looking forward to it!

Im confident that IF will be competitve - whether that be finals or not i dont know - but it wont be 30 goal thumpings week in week out i dont believe. The key needs to be to build the fitness still and gel more as a team, still lacking at the moment in those two areas.

Interesting what you hear walking the boundary, going to the canteen. Heard IF had between 12 to 14 and CU 8 to 10 A grade players unavailable for the game due to cricket and other reasons, if true would have to say both sides will be bolstered and competative in their respective divisions.

A nice note at what we believe to be a real Family club atmosphere at Rutland Ave. with;
1. Senior Coach John Corbett and son (multiple B&F winner) Michael in the A's.
2. New Senior Assistant Coach, former Carlton Premiership player and Magarey Medalist, Mark Naley with his son Sam returning from injury, Sam had a break through season in '09, in more ways than one.
3. Assistant Coach Jim Darrie and his son, "on baller" Matt returning from traveling is a 1st class recruit.
4. Reserves Playing Coach Ben "Growler" Bradford with his Father Terry as Team Manager in the Ressies
5. Club Legends newly appointed C Grade Coach Damian "Joey" White and all time record games holder Keith "The Legend" White as his Team Manager. Careful when you shake hands.
6. Former SANFL Eagles U/18 regular and former Westies U/17 Captain Brendon "Plough" Lowrey will rejoin his Brother, Ben at Rutland Ave. A real hard player over the ball, "Plough" will fit back in, like a hand in a glove.
7. And with more good news with a Family flavour, Garth Hall will stay alongside Brother Craig at Lockleys for season 2010.
8. The gaping hole that has been left by one departure, a consistent Key Forward or for that matter a Key Forward, may have just been filled, by another one of our "Brothers" stay tuned.
9. And a favourite son, that had supposedlly left.... HE's BACK! Hmmmm the grass is not always greener

Come be part of our family at "The Best Little Club in Town".

How's your modeling career now the nose has healed? Or is this a different dog! Sorry Hound

Not so much a new gun team MH just some Home grown boys coming Home to roost. We have at least a couple of competitive trials, with one near you, I understand Hope Valey on the 27th at Hope Valley subject to availability. And I know a couple of Brothers and their family members who are always keen to see your happy smiling face or was that your finger. ;)

Was Brenton not getting a run at Westies then? Would be handy to have him and Benny in the middle I would think.

And good to see Joey in a coaching role, top bloke.

Talk about confusing , when you use the quote can you all hit the preview tab before you submit the post, if it aint right then, redo it until it is right, you need to have a start quote and end quote for every previous post you are quoting, will make it much easier for others to read,

cheers

"Plough" left Westies the year before last and played at Eagles last year, very handy pick up for us. Both boys are great lads and products of our Junior program. Red & Blue blooded.
And Joey and Keith White will be great assetts back at the club too, Red & Blue thru and thru. Not that they have ever really left but great to see them back every week driving this new C Grade side.
Is that OK Ian? ;)
