I think Gene will play regardless his footy smarts and awareness around goals can't be questioned. One of the tigers weaknesses last year was they didnt have a huge spread of goal kickers. Brad Martin played a lone hand up foward and was at times double teamed and out numbered. Robinson will be a handy inclusion in tigers improving foward set-up...

Cain Lynn is apparently going to be used as a small forward this year, and I think that would be the best move for the Tigers. A good midfielder, with great goal sense, but always seems to run harder in to the forward line then back in defense... and with Meneghetti and the Eckermanns back, who all are the midfield type, hopefully Mypo have the luxury of using him as a small forward. In which case I'm not sure they would necessary opt for an unfit underage lad as a small forward and go for another young lad who could rotate on the ball.

Or, he could bob up and kick 4 goals in his first match and never look back. Time will tell...

Thing is guys that the kid is not that unfit...
Let we forget that he did win an Under 17s medal from the midfield... i believe he was in the same mould as Ben Quinn before he left mannum.... who i hear is a very good player

Thats fair! whats his time in 1km time trials?? Yes he did but was an individual player anytime he got just outside 50 he would try and go for goals..I dont think he'll play A grade for the tigers, very good b grade player though.

Well Drew Petrie, keep pumping your own tyres up!!!!!!!!

Well that identity leak is rather interesting, thank you ;)

As for Ray at Jervois, surely you don't think he is going about things in the best way for a country club INCOG? I know at most clubs they encourage a social atmosphere, and as bad as it sounds, based around alcohol... How do clubs make money? Bar sales. How do teams bond and become close-knit? Drinks with the lads. It's country football, not a Church camp.

Look at the Jervois 4-Premiership run players... some wild blokes in that bunch.

Trevor Rigney wouldn't get a game under "Ray's Commandments"...

As for Drew... you need to cool it a bit on your "mate" Robinson... if he can play, we'll find out in time.

I would have more wraps on the young lads from Mannum like Levi Krause or Zakk Bullard, who played a lot of A grade as underaged players. I would suggest you stop pumping "him" up and we'll see in time. Until then, he's just a chubby kid who went alright in the colts mate.

As would I Drama, there are plenty of better young players running around, the likes of zakk bullard, levi krause, scott davis, tyler robinson are all much better players and do the team thing unlike gene...
To be honest he might play one or two games of A's this year (if lucky) but will play 17s as a majority..
Will be interesting to see how the youngsters out at mypo go, especially that in Scott Davis

Scott Davis will play A's all year most likely, Gene will be lucky to play A's because he's not a team player and he probably doesn't train with the seniors

Ray will have his backers & his doubters, just like every other coach across the state. If he has a group that is longing for some direction, & structure he will be fine, but if he has a group of LADS who play footy well, but are after a more relaxed environment then say Sturt, he may struggle

Quietly confident he was an Assistant to Tim Richards in his first year at Jervois. The older blokes at the club say me he was a thug as a player  You probably stood him Sugar

I haven't heard, but I'll ask the boys. I think some of the lads thought he was going under the knife, but I haven't heard anything since... and would have thought if he had surgery I would have found out by now... I'll ask around.

Hogs is in RAH at the moment. Apparently bashed by 3 guys in towm on Sunday night. guys have been caught. Left hogs with broken jaw, cheekbone smashed and fractured skull. they are waiting for swelling to go dow before surgery on Thursday in cranio facial ward.

Regarding the knee, he was booked in for mid april. quite doubtful now. only needed an arthroscope.
