I haven't had the chance of looking at this article yet - does it mention anything re recruits for Tailem, in particular Matthew Cooper who still hasn't show up on the Hills clearances list yet.

Creating a nice little list out at Tailem... recruited a forward from Wudina, a Sturt U19's star Winra, dual Mail Medalist and SANFL star Matt Cooper, Mitch Vickers back, Michael Sumner is likely to stay an Eagle... and blokes like Hogarth and Gabb who have been top tier players at their club for a couple season, and represented the league. Tailem have some very handy players running around.

I think that whilst the top 3 may be hard to crack, they could definately be in the mix for 3rd with Ramblers and Meningie... and not as far off the mix as I once thought.

Drama one problem who is going to kick over 40 goals for the year??. Has not happen for a while now, they will win plenty of the footy but burn it far to often. Need a big signing up forward or will struggle to kick a winning score.

Yeah, the bloke from Wudinna is a forward, and Winra is a tall too.

Laurie Rankine kicked 35 plus goals last year, being played way out of position to make way for Comer. So if he gets going he could be a big scorer.

The Hills thread says that this bloke is going to Blackwood fromm Ironbank, is it the same Winra

The Winra from Ironbank is a young fella named Declan, played U17 last year.

Anybody know where Matt Dent has ended up this season? Involved with or coaching anywhere?

A report on the SAAFL Div 3 site says Tyson Matthews is going to play at Iggies this season. If this is true it will be a big loss to Ramblers.Apparently there is a bit of friction between Tyson and Ramblers.

I think Gene will play regardless his footy smarts and awareness around goals can't be questioned. One of the tigers weaknesses last year was they didnt have a huge spread of goal kickers. Brad Martin played a lone hand up foward and was at times double teamed and out numbered. Robinson will be a handy inclusion in tigers improving foward set-up...

I seen him play a few games last year played a few games if A's but looked abit out of place. At the moment is only a good B grader maybe with a little bit of work could develop into a handy A grade footballer...

Cain Lynn is apparently going to be used as a small forward this year, and I think that would be the best move for the Tigers. A good midfielder, with great goal sense, but always seems to run harder in to the forward line then back in defense... and with Meneghetti and the Eckermanns back, who all are the midfield type, hopefully Mypo have the luxury of using him as a small forward. In which case I'm not sure they would necessary opt for an unfit underage lad as a small forward and go for another young lad who could rotate on the ball.

Or, he could bob up and kick 4 goals in his first match and never look back. Time will tell...

Thing is guys that the kid is not that unfit...
Let we forget that he did win an Under 17s medal from the midfield... i believe he was in the same mould as Ben Quinn before he left mannum.... who i hear is a very good player

very disappointed about the comments about Ray Billing from FIL, considering you were his "understudy" for the last couple of years!!!!!!!! Good on him for wanting to change "bad"things at Jervois, and good on him for taking a stand.
Well Drew Petrie, keep pumping your own tyres up!!!!!!!!
