why would todd hilham tell every one he is on $250 then, and if he is who cares,i think peake are better spending more money on better players eg seyers temby like rather than hilam crouch fiegert ect.and why would the recruit 10 blokes when they have good numbers at there club

The RMFL Association side can only have 5 OVER 25.

Couldn't agree more Sugar, Sayers in really the only GUN they have managed to snare in 10 years, but have payed out plenty, one could even say too much for average players.

They deserve their shot just like every1 else, however not great for the teams themselves to play on a U/12's oval

There are alot of small grounds out there Goldberg... It doesnt make it easier, usually just equates to a different brand of footy, one that suits more physical teams!
Peake will do a top job! They have a great supporters base who have always hosted finals well... the size of their ground also allows the crowd to get involved in the footy...

If you have ever been there when its packed, the atmosphere is electric!

yes there is good numbers at peake but they've finished bottom somthing like 7 years out of the last 8 or somthing like that i guess the club is just trying to improve i think it would be a huge achivement for peake to even push to get close to the 4.

any team making an effort to recruit and be in the mix is great for the comp,i think peake panic a bit and throw the money to these fringe players to easy, when they were clearly not getting payed in the b grade at the rmfl,if these blokes were getting $100-$130 maybe to cover cost i could understand, they should consentrate on three guns at maybe 300-500 if they are out ther of course,as they do have a good local base .lets hope they improve as then will the comp.

if peake can get there juniors to stick around, i cant see why a premiership would not be too far out of reach

you will find that alot of the young lads love the club for the night life even though they are still young they have a very strong core group on and off field also with there familys having alot to do with the club.

peake have gone out to get players that they think will help the local talent and also benifit the club on and off field. you gotta look at some of the locals who come to the club year after year who played jnrs there like t carling b carling dippa marrett farley spry*2. so im thinking it wont be an issue.

it was just a comment mate, its more so saying that there colts are dominant and even dominated when they played B grade, so if they stick around a few more years and play A grade footy for a few...they should be in with a red hot go

Very hard to drag quality blokes away from Adelaide (notsaying your not quality Dutchy!!)etc when you have a poor record like peake has had over the years- I think the fact that they don't splash massive dollars (2-3 hundred is not massive compared to others!!) at over rated players has meant that the club has not had problems within the playing group and those who do play there enjoy the club. Maybe not great success but club hangs in- if it goes would be a massive loss for the whole area- even less to do there if it dies!
