Can confirm all my info was correct and we will play night games against Hahndorf. Hahndorf home first then our home game late in the season.

All I was saying is that you are full of it to the eye balls and always have been. Too many left over schnitzels eaten and not enough brain food.

As for you 2O2S, you just worry about putting your left penis leg before your right penis leg to save falling over and cutting your chin.

AF wipe your chin and leave Mt Lofty alone, they never do anything wrong! If they do there is always a reason for it!

Settle down you 3 all this talk of penis's and helmets makes me think im on red tube

Who does everyone have lined up for trial games? Think Lofty have Tanunda & Strath, should be interesting to see how they go covering the loss of some key players. Expect a very young team this season i reckon!

A few open questions to IB people.
Given the loss of the Pope brothers, and now the Moores, King and Philp are they concerned with exodus of players from the junior ranks?
Given also their current campaign to attract players for the under 17's is there a risk that they may not regularly field a side this year?
Should the HFL concerned?

Yes the HFL should be concerned about bigger clubs approaching top juniors from other clubs with offers of money to transfer and play. I know that one or two Onka juniors have been approached to move. HFL needs to deal with this issue urgently.

I think offering juniors money to move is an absolute disgrace. If they move because of a shift of the family home/school/mates etc then play on, but offering them cash is very, very poor.

The HFL can't really deal with the issue, as there's legally nothing wrong with it (as far as I'm aware). It's perfectly legal to contract players aged 15 an up. Morally though...it STINKS.

Yep, I agree, and it's only going to get worse!! i brought the issue up to Owen a month or so ago because with the points system, it's makes the best snr colts coming up into senior footy the biggest target because they are worth zero points the following season.

I think the HFL and the SANFL/CFL need to do something about this ASAP before it gets out of hand and the bigger, richer clubs start making it impossible for clubs to try and retain their colts coming up.

Dont know for certain, but i'm pretty sure blacky arnt throwing cash at them, I know they all have plenty of mates there, maybe there was some extra incentive to go tho?

But personally im not too concerned about the losses to Blacky, everyone knows how they treat their juniors when they step up to Seniors so im sure they will be back at IB pretty soon! ;)

pretty sure Richter's family moved to blackwood.

on another note have heard Brad DeVries won't be lining up for the raiders this season, taking the year off footy.

Banker,
Head out of the sand.
The loss of so many juniors on the eve of the season spells trouble. The lack of loyalty with these guys is surely a concern and might point to a club coaching / management issue.
Its taken many seasons to build up the strength of the colts teams and the U17's now look like going from champs to easybeats in 1 year.

That is a shame the young fella's have moved away from Ironbank without playing a senior game for the club. I agree that if money is being offered have a look at your club as it is WRONG - WRONG - WRONG!
Anyone from Ironbank shed any light - are they moving to play with mates or moved to the area or some other reason.
It always hurts when you lose your home grown talent!
