I thought you would've been to one of their concerts, they toured with Englebert Humperdink back in the mid 70's, I'm sure you went to that.

Pain and not being able to take anything stronger than Panadeine for it. Had to drive home from the city with what felt like a knife in my stomach. Hit a traffic island and nearly ran over a bloke sweeping the gutter at the Festival Centre. No more going out places on my own until bubs is born.

I've always been a classical music and Jazz man, with some interest in classical Indian styles.
During that period, I recall some high spots like going to a Zvi Zeitlin violin performance, and Roberto Bravo's first performance in Adelaide as part of his first International tour.
[He was a young Chilean pianist, and absolutely brilliant.]

I met my wife to be in the mid 70s and she had been on the technical crew at Meadows, and had managed sound and lighting at the Lion Disco and Redlegs Disco.
She had also mixed for KUSH at The Lion when they blew up their own gear, and their tech could work The Lion's.
They offered her a job on their touring crew, which she declined.
But she was more into classical music, too, and led me into subscribing to the State Opera.

made me wait 2 hours to pay out my mortgage in full i understand they have some paper work to do but 2 hours ffs. at least i dont have to deal with them anymore
