AG needed consoling last night. He was a destrought man. I thinke he had spent his winnings.

Rise again AG and steer us into a winner today!

I actually like the way AG structured the difference between Lane and Harvey on their fixed price rides as well,
This would be a good way of finding some value....

AG reckons C Harvey was into $1.15, Lane $4 and all other jocks were over $20 after race 2 , and then he ran second in the third race (8 pts) with 5 good rides still to come. So he would haver been about $1.02 after race 3. He is cursing for not saving but he simply thought it was all over.
Thats punting and JC's as we know. So many variables and anything can happen hence why so many odds-on favs go under.
WIW - AG found big value but missed by 1 point, he was fuming as the photo for third in race 8 was between the two leaders who were both on 9 pts .... it didnt go his way and that was to decide the JC.

When AG puts it like that it is plain to see where the value is.....

As I have put in Grub's PT LINCOLN thread;

Comparing TATTSBET JC market to Grubs:

Price way under the odds.
Baker is value
Hopwood about right.
AOJ is value
Dom about right or just under as is Hoppo
Plumb around the mark
Not sure Lever is worth it - has 4 rides, 3 chances..

BAKER and AOJ the way to go I think..

Lads the word from the stables is that the Dawson stable are confident that their first starter can run second in the first race. Thus giving M Hoppo a fair start to the JC. If Price gets 3 and Hoppo 2 then Hoppo is a show at the $13 as he can score in all of his other 4 rides like Price.

Just comparing rides at my fixed odds are .....

Price $1.20, $4, $5, $6, $6

M Hoppo $6, $4, $10, $8, $6

Baker $12, $2.50, $7, $12, $3.50

If Hoppo can get 2 in that first race then there is not a hell of a lot of difference with Price after that. Value ???????
