Why do you even have to ask? I'm sure he has told you himself enough times! :P

yeh he has.... he reckons shane watson has nothing on him...
Correction, his name is Nathan Fatwick. :D

Me thinks someone is having a little fun here :D .
Central United A's beat Riverside outright, not too sure of the scores.
The B's beat Wasleys - knocked them over for 91 and we were 7/469 when the game was called.
Stopped in at Smithfield on the way back to find they had been beaten by Craigmore by a couple of runs - didn't see that coming.

Grade 3
Craigmore 148 def Smithfield 145 - S.Baker 5/23 from 18, C.Brook 2/30 odd i think. Smithfield were 0/40 after the end of day 1.
Craigmore 5/105 in the 2nd innings.
Why wouldnt you have seen that coming? we did win our first six games this season. A recent poor run of form has probably cost us a top 4 spot, but on our day we have a team more than capable of matching it with anyone in grade 3.

Good on you guys for coming away with the win, after the day one scores came through it looked like Smithfield should have that game covered. Looks like you goys bowled well. Beat Brahma next week you should make the 4 if results go your way.

After day 1 we were along way behind. We managed to drop 6 catches and still sneak the win. Hopefully we field better against Brahma. A win there, and rely on Smithfield beating C.U. and we could still grab that 4th spot.

I am very suprised Central United didnt try to force the outright against Wasleys. I really cant understand that at all.

Not suprised at all that Craigmore beat Smithfield. I am more suprised they fell away so much mid season.

Looking forward to another tough game next week up at Craigmore.

At the end of the day even with the outright we still had to beat Smithfield next week to get through. Gave our boys a chance to have a bit of time out in the middle. Anyone know the result for the Angle Vale x Elizabeth East game?

ok for starters i dont think the rest of the competition wants to know that brahma lodge couldnt sit where they wanted to sit?? Our c grade wanted to be close to the bar and had there families there? I dont see a prob?? U make it sound like we made u sit in the sun?? You were in the same spot the rest of the comp sits when they play at OTH.

Secondly, as far as comments from the side lines go, ever team have supporters and ever team have people that yell stuff out from the sidelines. As far as Brahmas history against OTH I wouldnt know, but i do know this, Brahma havnt beaten a top 4 side this year?? So please, dont go on the internet posting crap, just comes across like ur having a cry.

Wasnt there day 1 so cant comment on who sat next to who - but could be interesting if OTH play The Lodge at The Lodge in a final 8)
But can comment on the offensive personal comments made to individuals - I dont mind quality sledging but to call someone your a **** Head is just sad
Funny thing is OTH said that to the fine leg then the next ball took a catch right in front of them - interesting to hear them scream when they seen the bird flipped in their direction
Perhaps Browny could shed some light on that incident as I know as the ball sailed over my head I got a good view of the catch and celebration;)

Sounds like the best type of comeback to hecklers! A catch in front of them... classic!
Sledging is an artform and some people don't get it. It occurs between the players, not spectators. It's sometimes vital on field and can sometimes define the mood of the game, and even get you over the line in the end. Once off the field though, civility returns.
Sledging from the sideline is pointless and the best retaliation is none at all. The more the player ignores it, the bigger the idiot on the sideline looks. However, there is a difference between sledging and heckling..... and it sometimes can be funny.

Incorrect, the outright would have meant you were still a possibility of making the four even if you lost to Smithfield next week. It would have then come down to performance points as to who snuck into that last spot!! Now, it is open for Craigmore, Smithfield and CU to grab the last spot!!

Very well done to them I agree
Great game on the pitch and was happy to be involved - lots of laughs during the game I thought and played in the right spirit
Perhaps next time some people should investigate what a sledge is and what personal abuse is
