Not sure if either the Magpies or Sturt will be showing too much in the first trial.

Is the Gang of 31 planning a fundraiser?

Looking at the internal trial yesterday I was quite surprised on our skills for a hitout this early. Some of you may say that there was no pressure as it was an internal but believe me there was. There was niggle, hard tackling and plenty of defensive pressure. We have alot of quality in the group and all are trying to fit into 21 spots so there are many players who will be pushing to impress.
Looking forward to seeing how McLeay goes with an interrupted pre season and a couple from the ressies last year in Tim McIntyre and Sam Miles who both have been burning up the track and looked good yesterday.
Hassan kicked 5 yesterday and looks to be the forward line crumber that we have craved for a long time.
One thing I'm not looking forward to is any drivel flowing from Port supporters mouths about the whole world being against them. Hopefully they're smarter then that as many of us will be throwing quite a bit over the bar. Something I wouldn't normally do at a trial game but am happy to to give a bit of a helping hand. BTW, I'm not talking about shit stirring as that's what's fun about footy, as long as it's just that, fun, not aggresive bullshit!

Has there been any talk about Sturts AGM ? Not worth a new thread, I wouldn't have thought, but apparently it was an interesting meeting.

Do it in a can, re-sell it for $6.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

So seriously, are there going to be facilities (not just toilets) open at the game? Food and bevvies? Coz if nobody lets me know I'll just bring my own and most others will too. Less money for the Port coffers unless we get a straight answer.
