Not many considering i bowled four of the last eight overs trying to restrict the scoring. If it wasnt for my lightning pace i wouldve gone for more tho. Even Mick H turned to me and said "Auto if theres an LBW i wont be able to give it, the bowling is that fast i cant see the ball"

Para Vista, bunch of peanuts.....especially Bevan. He's pretty much a cheat. Hit a catch straight back to the bowler and just stood there. It was an obvious catch too. Refused to walk, karma got him though the next ball.....bloody ranga.

Personally i have always found Vista to be pretty arrogant on the field and have had the same situation as you Mythbuster where i took a clear cut catch and it wasnt given (in a GF too) but i wouldnt read too much into it. Just the competitive juices flowing and in all probability blokes that probably are as common as any common man cept for thier bank balance

typewriter wrote:Para Vista A posted 205 against Adelaide Lutheran A. Marshall made 90 odd, Cossens 39. Ecky from Adelaide Lutheran will probably be able to fill us in on the pick of the bowlers.

Para Vista B posted 117 against Paralowie. Brenton Starke made 45 not out. We all know that the mob from Elizabeth East are a rowdy bunch, and they play some weird cricket too... Surridge bowled 24 overs straight to claim 6/51, Lubcke bowled 19 straight from the other end to finish with 2/51. If I wanted a trundle in that team, I would've been pretty ticked - but I suppose these blokes were always going to continue the shenanigans they've got up to all year season to the semi finals. Paralowie are 0/15 in reply thereabouts.

Funny thing happened in our game. I was scoring and I asked for a new bowler's name. Some Paralowie supporter from behind us (in full view of Glennis from the Association) said "McHale, the bowler is McHale!" At that moment, the Paralowie players on the field yelled out "Bowler's name is McGinley." Glennis noted that McHale is not allowed to play in any CUSA competition because he had been barred from Para Districts or something. The supporter - who was adamant at first that it was McHale - quickly back-tracked and said "Oh, yeah, that's McGinley" and left the ground soon after. McGinley (or McHale?!?!?!) didn't trouble us with the ball, so we don't care, but it did sound weird!

As for Para Vista C, Auto's given us the update on them vs Fitzroy, thanks mate. Shaping up to be an interesting game next week, but here's to a couple of grand final berths for Vi$ta again!

But, good luck to everyone next week.

I dont really see a problem with the two blokes bowling such marathon spells? More power to them if they have the fitness to do so and clearly going by the figures they did well. Its a semi final and obviously you want to win and if they think their best chance is with these two blokes well then cant really knock it, not there to make people happy especially the oppostition, your there to win

Hey Auto good luck for next week. I think you will find Myth Buster if having a bit of fun. You are right we are the same as every one else out there. nothing wrong with being competetive. I was batting at the other end and clear bump ball even the bowler said so and it was a caught and bowled.

next time dont make the falling dive so you cover the ball from the batsman and umpires so we can all appreciate the catch too ;)
