the attitude is completely different, most of the lads have been excited by pre-season training and its shown

if they dont win anymore then 13 games this year then i will be absolutely shell-shocked

Must be a full moon

$5 to park your car around the ground for a trial - that is a joke

Thankyou and good to hear MT79 O:)
And yeah I think $5 at the gate for a trial is a bit rich

it was free to walk into the ground but it was $5.00 if you parked your vehicle around the boundary etc, i parked at the shopping centre so i got some exercise & saved $5.00.....i think mt79 was the only one that didn't pay for his vehicle to park inside the ground

i left at 3/4 time with wwt getting on top during the third term & they led by about 7 goals at the said break, south in the first half while lacking in the skill level department was definately having a dip & running in numbers & when wwt lifted their workrate & intensity the south boys started to struggle a bit, wwt lead by 2 goals at 1/4 time & about 3 goals at half time, i thought cica & welsh looked very sharp for wwt, as for south i think handby who did well early looks the fittest he's been since he was on a crows list, obviously with all trials ''name players'' for both sides either didn't play or played a half or so & i'd think that both clubs can take something from this game both positive & negative
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Cheepy looked good on the wing, Welsh wasnt super busy but good and kicked 3, Staple kicked 4.
Seb Guilhaus played well in the ruck got and did a bit around the ground.
Luke Jarrad played back and took alot of the kickins.
Powelly and Treeby will be better for the run.
Trust the process.

For the Eagles, Cicollella was outstanding, the spiritual leader of the club who sets the tone with very strong attack on the body. Welsh showed his footy smarts setting up play for other forwards. Dale Grocke was strong again and is becoming leadership material. Stapleton positioned himself well to score 4 goals. Treeby in the new role as a rover was prominent. Jarrad was the biggest kick winner and used every possession well. Our small players, Jim Stewart, Rowntree, Cody Hicks and Goldsworthy were prominent around the ball-ups. South showed greater leg speed when in the open but the Eagles looked bigger, harder at the ball with faster ball movement and very impressive in the lastQ against the breeze.
On the down-side, 1. Jarrad Redden, admittedly on one performance on a windy day, still looked immature, hasn't bulked up much over 2 years and big Hoban must be eyeing that position 2. Full back looks very suspect and Handby looked too lively near goals - Grieger and Miles look very slow but Miles read the ball well, handballed off quickly and won many possessions - hate to think how someone like Nick Gill will run him ragged.
Next week against Centrals will give better idea but encouraging signs.

Does anyone who saw the Reserves game have an opinion on how Bass went in the ruck?
