Very well. Underrated and does his job every week across the half back line. Was in the best players most weeks last season

Tyron Hill was a very handy player as well...WOW is Sterzel going to Myponga or staying at Jervois?

Sterz is not sure if he'll play footy, if he does it wont be at Jervois

I was reading this week in the Tuesdays standard about the meningie season preview looks like they are going to be a very handy unit and may cause some headaches for some of the top sides. Also the boy to watch Ben 'Bomber' Gibbs is a star and will have a good impact this season and in the future if he can stay injury free..

Meningie will presumably be the big improvers this year and should be a reasonable chance of a top 3 finish. Looks as though they will spend up which is wise given that they have the maximum allocation of points available to them.

Totally agree GWW....Meningie will definately be the biggest improvers this season.

Unlike Mannum, who after all their off season recruiting and work, will only improve by one position this year.

=)) =)) My late mail is that Chris Hall is not going to be allowed out of his Glenelg contract without compensation, neither will Jeremy Clayton, via Port. That leaves you a little short still mate. Remember you lost the GF by how much was it????

Come in spinner.
Beaten by enough to still be pissed off. Backed plenty of late mail specials in my time only to find out late mail not as accurate as it was supposed to be. Unfortunately for my bank account, no one knows the final result until we finish, but have had a sh*tload of fun watching the race. Can't wait until the contest starts and we can all have something to write about on this forum worth reading and writing.

I've been informed by the lads Mich Vickers was out at training with the Eagles. Apparently he didn't like it out at Brighton and wanted to return for a 4th year with Tailem. Good news for the club.

Creating a nice little list out at Tailem... recruited a forward from Wudina, a Sturt U19's star Winra, dual Mail Medalist and SANFL star Matt Cooper, Mitch Vickers back, Michael Sumner is likely to stay an Eagle... and blokes like Hogarth and Gabb who have been top tier players at their club for a couple season, and represented the league. Tailem have some very handy players running around.

I think that whilst the top 3 may be hard to crack, they could definately be in the mix for 3rd with Ramblers and Meningie... and not as far off the mix as I once thought.

Information i have straight from the Mannum coach is that the Chris Hall thing is sorted out and he has been training the house down and that Jeremy Clayton is still at Port and at this stage is still going to play there but has signed with Mannum for 2 years and will definitely play at Mannum next year.

I also heard that the Hally scenario had been sorted. Word is 1 of the major sponsors pulled some strings at the bay to reduce the transfer fee in which Hally will pay back to Mannum. Up until a few weeks ago he had only been to about 2 trainings, so not too sure you would say he has been training the house down. (although if he has been training im sure he would be training the house down). Also heard from a very reliable source that if mannum don't win the flag this year that the coach will be given the flick in 2011. Be interesting to see how that 1 plays out. A little bit of pressure on him 1 would think.
