What has the Hills league got to hide or more so clubs by denying access to the clearances page . Are some clubs upset with other clubs being able to see who is being cleared to them ?

Bartemucci missing for a fair part of the season, going overseas. How much will this hurt them?

I'm sure I'm like everyone else on here and just want to get my calendar in order ready for the year ahead.
Cheers

HFL's second website Sporting pulse has it here listed under each round, will need to change the filter for country div games.

Wouldn't take these too seriously.... HFL has released about 15 different versions of the schedule so far, still got plenty of time to change their minds again

There were only 5 versions.

The program has been finalised.

Blackwood v Mt Lofty is in Round 2.

Didn't we hear last year that Hahndorf were hot favourites at the start?

Plus the great Mouse has hung up the boots. Big hole to fill.

Oh only 5 versions... my mistake

The 5 favourite clubs must have had their say on what they want and then it got finalised ;)

Ever been involved in putting together a fixture for any sport? It takes a ridiculous number of hours and is often done by volunteers (not in the HFL case, but I wouldn't want the cr@p that gets dished at them for their efforts on their wages).

Or are you one of those people that just sits back, lets everyone else do all the work and then whinges and criticises all and sundry?

Here here Devils advocate.

Owen may be a little old fashioned and set in his ways but who else puts the time and effort for little or no return or thanks - no one. Get off his case you dicks..... out there and start supporting the league you small minded pricks play in. Your clubs are no where near as good as you think you are - so start supporting and being bloody positive.

The world is full of negative people and these people either have a vested interest or are losers. Be bloody grateful for a change that we have a great competition made possible by these so called fuddy duddies. Keep up the good work Owen and Sam and stuff the selfishness of some B members and clubs

I think the HFL is a brilliant, well run organisation. I'd bet that there are a few leagues around the place that would love to be as strong as the HFL.

Long may it continue.

I think last years brand new one is still empty is it not???
Hahndorf will still be around the mark but not as good as last year IMO.. my guess is 5th position for the pies this year

I have to laugh at that. There was a fair beat up for Hahndorf's U17's last year only for the Birdwood lads to produce a cracking effort to knock them off.

LOTS of egg on face here after last year!

Maybe a poor post from MopUp but that's a touch rich coming from you after all the blame games on IB for Lofty selection errors in finals.

IMO there should be submissions from each club prior to the fixture being created, then it is issued and that is it. Any critical errors can be fixed but why leave it open to clubs to debate? Things drag out and people setting the draw have nothing to gain from that.

I also believe the HFL is a relatively well run organisation, however the true strength of the league comes from us being the closest 'country' league to town which enables us to draw from more quality players and maintain more clubs than we otherwise would if we relied purely on locals.
