He has played the last 4 games with us Caleb.

He is a good bat who hasn't played any cricket for the last 3 or so years partly due to having a knee recon. He has come from Woodville District Cricket Club where he played c's and b's before his injury.

The list of unavailable people for this game in the association side is much longer than the ones who are available.

I think the Sheidow boys could attest to Eckerts batting ability, he batted very well against them for his 61.

It may have been a little premature for him to be selected in the association side but as i said the amount of people unavailable didn't leave many options for Skinny.

Just to the Morphy Park boys - we're keen to have a beer after the game, however depending on what time we finish it might not be possible. The Ramblers have our one real fundraising event for the year Saturday night (quiz night) with many of the A-grade helping in setting up.

So please don't take it as rude if we have to hurry off. If we can, we will hang around (and if you'll have us!).

We figure we're due after having a shocking 2nd half of the season. Will be a very, very good test. We're certainly looking forward to the challenge.

RB, I'm sure the Morphy Park boys will be happy to buy the drinks if you lose the remaining 9 wickets quickly!!

I can understand your problem there Roseboy. Last week we had our Quiz Night as well. I just wish that our A grade boys were in the same hurry to help me out with the set up as your guys are.
If we finish late, sobeit.
I appreciate your candour in letting us know.
Always welcome at our bar, as is every club.
Good luck & hope it is close, but we win by a few runs to give the sponsors something to cheer on.

I will say here & now that i see every team from either Sect. 3 or 1, depending on who plays home for us every week.
The Ramblers blokes (except 1) &, the Westminster blokes (except 1) & the WYC blokes (except 1) are ALL good blokes.

Moeman will miss his cricket :(

Well, its not you Claeb777. Every team has one, even us, that step over the line of good sportmanship.

Ramblers got up, well batted boys too good on the day. What the hell happened with WYC vs Coro? That would have the be WYC's first outright loss in forever wouldn't it?

Our second in our time in ASCA. The last one was against Hectorville in the round 10 and we went on to win the flag against Coromandel, hopefully it is an omen.

We were downright awful yesterday. Lourens and Bruce bowled fantastically but we didn't give much more than a whimper. The only positive is that there is still a next week.
