Postby Swamp Donkey » Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:01 am

It was just over 12 months ago when we had come across the next superstar of international cricket in J. P. Duminy and he confirmed his supreme level of talent in his 2nd Test match vs Australia in Melbourne with a brilliant 166 which followed his resolute 50* on debut in Perth. In the 16 innings since this time he has only scored 2x 50s and has failed to reach 20 on 13 occasions averaging ~23.

You have too much time on your hands

But those stats don't lie. The good thing for JP I guess is that he is young so if he does get dropped he will make his way back into the side.

If Ashwell Prince is not already in the side then they could trade places again!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Probably like alot of interenational cricketers tho, come onto the seen with some good scores then play some average games, get dropped for a year or two, refine your game and come back a better player. Its nearly an SOP to becoming a well rounded international cricketer.
