Great to hear that the Anzac Day game is on at Grand North Yatala Park again this year !! Should be a special day and no doubts a cracker game will ensue. Great that both clubs respect the day and each other enough to plan this event now and make it a ripper day. Good work to both clubs :D

Well sponsorship is a major part of any clubs success and last night Pooraka secured two new major sponsors for the next 3 years in Armstrong Packaging and TC Air & Electrical. This will see 2 brand new sets of guernsey's ordered for the A's and B's with the new sponsors logo on them. Good start to our 2010 campaign. :D

that is some good work. it can be hard at times to secure those sort of sponsorships today with things that are happening.

Is this true?? Fair $$ you'd imagine..
With Peterson and Pascoe 2 of best talls in Div 4 last year - what a line up!

Quite possible with his brother (Andrew) out there as an assistant coach.....however tread carefully and dont upset him, or he will spit the dummy and leave.....wont do the 'team' thing and play anywhere but A's (when coming back from injury or the like)....will probably get away with that at Div 4 level though!!

Jealous he's not playing at your club Pacboy ???

Not at all Choccies....very surprised Weaver took him back after I heard he spat it at the Gullies whilst Weaver was coaching and left as he refused to play B's when coming back from injury....From a reliable source too!!

Well I dont think Salisbury West will have to worry to much about changing the Culture (as per the write up late last year), I have heard the Greenies have picked up about 4-5 of them and few others heading to Brahma Lodge.

In addition did last years coach O'Brien pick up his $9K cheque? I did hear this week it was still there waiting collection.

Moving on - Coach of Greenies Danny Ryan might want to deliver the goods this year, otherwise it may be time to move on. The club have supported him pretty well with resources over the last 3 years, but only gain promotion once.
