Which sides will finish in the top three in 2010?

Postby Sojourner » Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:47 pm

Considering that most recruiting SANFL wise is begining to settle down and we can draw some pre judgements about how a side might or might not go in 2010, which clubs do you think will finish in the top three at the conclusion of round 23 this season?

Central - Sturt - North were my selections!

I do think South will not win the spoon in 2010 but that is likely another thread! ;)

Nup that was me - I took the trifecta with the legs and pies just to show how stupid it was that those 3 clubs could be considered in this poll for a top 3 finish. It would take almost a miracle coupled with a horrible long list of injuries and loss of form and ability to the 6 other clubs before you could even consider those 3 clubs for a top 3 finish IMHO.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

i've gone the same as last year, although i think north will improve after a year under healy & getting the more defensive game plan correct as it gels in their system, i think west can make the 5 but must win the games they 'just lost' last year
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

So are Centrals gonna do a Norwood & come thru the Elim Final? Or maybe they're just over GFs? :)

Centrals - will continue their dominance of the comp. :D
North - Have recruited well and are due to bounce back from a couple of disappointing years.
Sturt - Have recruited well and will continue their good form from 2009.
Sorry no spot for Glenelg - will slip this year as all is not well out at the bay, not sure why.

Sturt, North and Centrals for mine.

Glenelg will drop out of the five.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Central Deserve it on their record
Glenelg Have improved and will continue to
Sturt As above

North Getting better but not quite there yet
Eagles Same as North but could sneak top three if consistent and don't drop easy games

West Making ground but lose games they shouldn't finals a possability if all goes well
Norwood Not much in the way of recruits due to penalties have to miss again
Port They are stuffed!!!! can't see them doing much in very much in trouble
South South will be South overpaid and under achieving same old story 46 years later.

Don't right off the Bays just yet word is the side is stronger than it looks on paper.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
