The only way the Redbacks will get better is to sack Mark Sorell. He is a Joke.
The SACA should treat cricket like AFL. If the team is not performing blame the coach and get a new one.
We have got the talent there they just need to gel and having the coach for too many years can limit that.
SACA would be kicking themselves now with Ryan Harris. All they had to do was offer him a 2-3 year deal.

I dont think there is much wrong with Mark Sorell.

I also dont 100% agree with all the blame going to the coach, something needs to be done with the players, whether they need some sports pyschology i dont know but capitulations like we see all the time are disgracefull.

Not sure how our district program stacks up against the other states since it seems the players who perform come from interstate anyway

You think 8/96 and 10/103 are acceptable batting performances that should go un-noticed and we won't comment on them? I always try to keep others positive on here but that effort with so much riding on it was spineless....

No, but calling for rolling heads isn't the answer. Very good coach, who finally has good support staff and some talented cricketers who need to be given opportunity to play consistently at the level they have shown is what I see. This match was very disappointing but not the end of the world, IMO.

I have not been approached to coach at the WFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the WFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

Good call rod. Lee pulled the pin on his Test career soon after you made this post. Now why didn't this malastradamus bloke call this one?

I've never called for any heads to roll, merely expecting more steely performances in important games

To top it all off, Tasmania have now leaped from bottom to third place, after the Redbacks shocking effort, bumping us to fourth.
