I just hope that the selectors aren't using the excuse that Tait's only 23 because a bowler like him, with the wear and tear he is likely to have, may only last 'til he's 29 or 30.

You want to hear something REALLY stupid? Mark Allen on SEN radio said tonight that the Test selectors may have left Tait out of the team to stop the Barmy Army from giving him hell. I've heard some pure bullshit in my time but this one is in the top 3. Taity wouldn't give a toss what a group of loud mouth Pommies was yelling at him. That would only fire him up more to create more carnage on the English batsmen. I only hope the selectors don't regret leaving Tait out of the 1st Test.
