Oaksy knows his way around a spreadsheet....

Need a formula that shows the chances of scoring 3 pts in a race, or something along those lines....

ie:
- 8 runners in a race, Bowman's ride is a 20% chance of scoring 3 pts
- 15 runners in the race, Schofield's ride is a 1% chance of scoring 3 pts

Start with the basics.

Record all opening prices
Record all prices for jockeys/AOJ with 1 point
Record all prices for jockeys/AOJ with 2 points.... and so on AFTER Race 1, 2 etc

Record the amount of rides per each jockey before meeting starts.
Record the amount of rides remaining for those on 1 point/2points and so on.

Record the track and the day.

You might find that the more well known jockeys run UNDERS at country meetings.

Record the data first. Then worry about the formula etc.

Alright, cheers mate.

So, basically need to collect some data first then worry about a formula.

Definitely a work in progress, but I think there's a way we can crunch the numbers a bit better with the JC's.
