The Allan Border Medal
Who will win it ?
Here is a dossier of what I think
Players listed in alphabetical order

BOLLINGER ...awesome, but didnt play enough games, cant win
CLARKE.........consistent, but rarely dominated, unlikely to win
HADDIN.........improved glove work, some good batting, only a rough place hope
HARRIS.........sensational bowling in ODIs , but only played a few games, cant win
HAURITZ.......does a great job, went well in tests, but his ODI form has tapered, no hope
HOPES..........does a job in ODIs, but cannot possibly win
HILFENHAUS...cant win, injured
HUSSEY........Mr Cricket had an exceptional ODI season, and a couple of tons in Tests, place hope
JOHNSON.......ourtstanding bowling, some useful batting, enourmous chance of winning the award
KATICH.........lots of scores, but no big match winning efforts, cant win
MARSH..........needs to spend more time on the ground than the physio rooms, ODI form ok, cant win
MCKAY..........very very good ODI form , but not played enough games
NORTH.........started career well, but lost all form, simply wont win
PONTING.......below best, but ODI form good, could be placed
SIDDLE..........lack of wickets, cannot possibly run a place
WATSON........has had a season of Kallisesque proportions and looks almost a certain winner
WHITE..........ODI form excellent, but no tests, no hope

My selections
1ST WATSON

I rekon Johnson will win but Watto will be a very close second. Both would be very deserving winners. Either way the event is only worth watching to perve on Johnson's missus. With him polling well there will be a fair bit of attention on her during the night.

pretty much right. struggle to remember the last couple of years winners and doubt this year will be any different. so far down the pecking order now that it is on fox instead of 9. (fair enough might be showing another sporting event, but it wouldn't happen to the brownlow)

125 WATTO
90 CLARKE
87 MJ

The SAFOOTY iconic allrounder has done us all proud

TESTS
849 RUNS
56-60 AVE
13 WICKETS @ 29-62

ODIS
1258 RUNS
41-93 AVE

There has always been some expectation he would be a frontline batsman
His bowling is the big
I never thought he would make it with his bowling
