Also if i did have anyones number the fact that i got told to arrive before 10:30 in which i did would have never made me think to call because i was "late".

And yes catchit i was told i was selected in the side by more than likely the same bloke who was calling everyone else friday night. But he wasnt at the cricket sunday morning, hence me having no-ones number.

Phone call to make sure i was on my way would have been nice as it would have sorted out what happened, but not to worry no hard feelings on my end.
maybe they thought it would be funny to see you turn up, then break your heart with the bad news, watch you throw another tanty and go home
Honestly mate, i wasnt too upset. Had a drink and watched most a the first session then left to get on with the day. As i said no hard feelings. . .

We had the win which was nice. Wasnt easy though. Only got to face one ball with the bat and manged to hit a single that barely went over the end of the pitch while attempting to slog. Ended up getting three wickets in the end too which I wont complain about. Is definitely different bowling on hard wicket no doubt about it. Got to get length right and needs to be a different length to counter some of the unorthodox shots that are played that are so natural to hard wicket cricketers but we barely see at turf level. The ywere quite effective htough., You ahd some blokes who could hit a ball quite hard and effectively with regularity.

Bowling: 2 Horse race between Sibbick and Davies
Fielding: Could go to anyone but surely sibbick will have this one too!
