Should a club beable to change imports mid-season?

my view is no, time and time again the Kings sack imports mid season

these imports make sacrafices to move to another country, most times bring their wife ad children with them, it's too easy for a club to sack an import

surely the focus should be at clubs making the right recruitment decisions, why should they be allowed to carry no risk with their selections, Brian is deemed to be the super-coach but time and time again he gets it wrong, why should he get a second bite at the cherry

you select your roster, that should be your roster for the season, whether your decisions are good or bad

Many sports around the world do it - AFL is an exception to this obviously !!!

To answer your question I do rekon you should be able to have mid season changes especially in sports that have limited numbers in their squads !!!
It is what it is !!!

During a trade period maybe but if the import doesn't get picked up by another club, he has to be paid out within the salary cap or kept on board.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

The 36ers should be able to change their entire squad mid season minus Brett Maher

If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Its normal practise in Basketball and sports like Ice Hockey for players to change mid season, I can't really see a problem with it.

In the old days, a lot of imports suffered the 'Atlantic Shrink.'

Meaning, they suddenly lost a couple of inches on the trip over - all of a sudden, seven foot centres were 6'5 forwards.

But I digress, if the imports aren't good enough, they have to go.

Otherwise, you end up with Paris McCurdy for an entire season.
