Just looking for some oppinions:

Is the RFC on an import system or a point system for new players?

What are the ground conditions?

What amateur league level would RFL be in comparrison?

Any reply would be great

Yeah right.

I have played for Loxton North in a trial against Adelaide Uni and North were competitive. I would say Div 3 - Div 4 now though as Riverland has dropped away a bit to what it used to be.

When Flinder Uni won a premiership and went up to Div 6 Wunkar played them at the carnival and went down by 2-3 goals so I would say Independents would be Div 6-Div 7 standard. eg top 4 Div. 6 bottom 4 Div. 7.

Div 3 I'd say. RFL hasn't dropped off that much. There are some bloody good players running around in this comp.
So you've seen everything have you?

Ground conditions are fantastic. You won't get many better grounds IMO. We're on a points system.

Having played amateur footy, RFL would be very competitive against most div 3 teams,
even a couple div 2 teams on a good day. Most clubs would have a few players capable
of playing div 1 footy, just the depth that drops off

there have been a lot of handy div 1 players come down and find the RFL tougher then they thought. I still think it is underestimated.

Cheers for all that lads!

I went and saw a Paringa V Nth Haven game a couple of years ago. was meant to be 6 quarters, but at the end of the third Nth Haven were up by somethin like 17 goals so they made it 4 quarters instead.

Bout Div 4 div3 is not a bad comp at all

We are not talking independents here they would be lucky to be div 7. The top 4 sides in rfl would be competitive in div 2

Loxton made 100 I think and Berri were 7 down with a few overs to spare I reckon. That's what I heard anyway.

Can any of you guys tell me where I can find the new footyweb clearance form. Wendy from the RFL is referring me back to the secretary of the club and unfortunately he has moved interstate and there has been no replacement organised yet. I am picking up the void for clearances and Im struggling to find this form anywhere.

Help appreciated and thanks in advance.

I reckon it is. I have never seen the form but it is different to the old one so I am going to assume it is the new one. I couldn't find it on sporting pulse either anywhere. Thanks 200KW.
