Great stuff Punky - have done that a few times myself and it's always a buzz. Also been on the receiving end too, which is tough!

I think my record number of balls potted at the break, is 5.

Depends on whether you did on the front course or back course DeDja
I've seen the old dart rear ending (ahem) another dart routine.

In 8-ball, it's a re-break by your opponent I think. I once saw it happen twice in a row

In 9-ball, if you pot the 9 ball off the break you win. It's the ultimate in elation or despondency.

Hit a hole in one at golf when I was about 16- the 3rd at Ashbourne- in front of the whole family!

Have also thrown a 'Robin Hood' in darts (Where the 2nd dart goes into the back of the first darts' flight.)

even managed to throw one of those softballs into the old milk containers at the show one year to win Mrs G a big stuffed animal*

I should elaborate- I didn't pot out, but the 8 actually went in off of my break shot

Yeah in 8-ball the black gets re-spotted. Bit tough if playing in a pub though, gotta fork out $2 just for 1 ball, or just keep playin of course.

Some time ago I played comp 8-ball for the Mile End Sports and Social club. As a pimply faced 16 year old playing at the Holdfast one night we were down in the singles 3-2. My Dad won the last singles and we were locked 3-3 going into the doubles. Split the first two 1-1 to be 4-4 going into the doubles finale. I broke, and potted out. I remember looking down the cue as I went to pot the black, shaking in terro/nerves/excitement and I could see my Dad in the back ground with clenched fist silently giving me the "C'MON!" .....I drained it. Remember it like it was yesterday, some 17 or 18 years on.

At uni we always played by the rule that if the 8 went in off the break, you won. I did it once but I'm prouder of this one even though I gave my opponent 2 shots - I hit the cue ball and it appeared to not move at all (must have been spinning tightly, I guess) and then suddenly it jumped in the air and flung itself straight down one of the side pockets. Didn't even touch any of the other balls. No idea how it happened.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Shooting on a mates property with a .22

Could only see the bunny's ears sticking up from behind a fence railing - killed it with a groove through the top of the head

Lucky shot from 500m ( ;) - it was about 20 years ago so the distance has increased a bit)

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
