I can confirm there was a dispute at Enfield lastnight over some 'very' un-neccesary back stabbing involving children and fiancee's... James Hughes has resigned as Captain of Enfield but we(the A grade) are hopeful of having him back for a tilt at the finals. It is a blemish in what has been an otherwise good year at the club.

oh yes, my bad, I know that chap. Dont really rate him to be honest. Very dissapointed Travis Uern hasnt yet been called up as Ive been told certain players are recieving phone calls to play. I understand a selecter does not like him because of disciplinary problems more then 12 months ago at his club but why punish the rest of the Rep side my excluding Travis from participating. Pretty selfish if you ask me. Better then any all-rounder playing tomorrow and there are players in the side that would glady confirm that. He would be an astounding asset as a batter and bowler to any rep side selected to represent our association.

was any of those games helds next to the aquatic centre Pidge? i swear i saw some Fitzies t shirts on a couple of the guys over there...

Just in case anyone cares  we kept the Rockets to 174 on a f**king quick ground, and then I Martin (37) and T Hodson (62) opened and had put on 77 when Ian got out in the 11th over... some of these turf boys dont understand you cant keep bowling short to hard wicket players

was good to see the PV boys are getting back into a bit of form before their return next season 8)

I dont dispute your commitment statement there. Trav trains every Wednesday for us and never lets us down game day. As a selector, arent you supposed to select the strongest side you can select. as for trav not contacting the association, He has stated his interest through myself and if called Im sure he wouldnt be the first bloke who has been called by the selectors with first contacting them. And I know for a fact that 'Goat Hearder' doesnt like him. It was one of the current association squad members who told me.

And on Dylan, he was exciting last year. He hit 600 odd runs playing division 4. this year he has played 4 div 1 games and hit 31 runs... Is that form?

Good luck to the boys today, sorry if offended anyone but I feel the side selected isnt as strong as it can be but that just my opinion. :P

Good Win by the team today. Well done to Dylan And john smith. I think they were top scorers. Hill and Doma took 4 each. Great Result.

Im not going to doubt his capabilites onion, nor am i gonna question whether he should be in the assoc side.. HOWEVER..

If he was serious about playing at that level then surely he would make a greater effort to put his name forward i.e train or ring someone, not go through you on a forum! Why should the assoc chase him around to play if they have 20 blokes keen to play already who are willing to make the effort to train or make a simple phone call?

As far as im concerned i wouldnt take anything written on a forum from someone else as gospel, rather hear it from the horses mouth you know what i mean? "I know a bloke who knows a bloke who wants a game and is the greatest ever, all you need to do is find him and ring him and beg him and offer him fellatio" ..come on too much effort required :P :P ;)
